As to the asshole who left bullying comments, here is an excerpt from Tina Fey's Bossypants:

Oh gosh, DT, you don't even need to 'publish' stuff like that comment. A blog is by definition 'uttered' in a public forum, and there are nutcases full of anger and hate out there; I run into angry people (usually men though not always) like that in the subway all the time. No need whatsoever to take them seriously; no need to publish them or waste a minute on them.

On to more important stuff: I'm so glad to hear about your surgery. That is wonderful news, and I hope it goes very well. Please keep us up to date. I remember how wonderful WG was w. yr surgery a few years ago, and I'm sure he'll be great again this time. I like him, sight unseen. Your east coast blog friends want you to get healed quickly so you can come visit.
